Gods and Goddess

Dear Goddess Durga, You have been there with us through thick and thin. Whenever we have a problem, you are the first perosn we cry to and we know that you are always watching us. You are everywhere but most of all in out hearts. Please bless Amma, Appu, Kasboo, Rover and everyone out there. Be with us until the end. Thank you.

My two dogs

When ever I am asked How many brothers I have, I usually say three. Karthik and my two dogs. I have three handsome, talented and loving brothers who always look up to me as wonderful big sister. We have 2 golden retrievers named Kasboo and Rover. They have been with us for the past seven years and it seems like they are still puppies. A family without pets can never be considered a complete family. Seven years ago, we never realised that they would grow into such adorable dogs. My Mom always says that they are very lucky to have come to our place. They are treated like royalities. (Better than Paris Hilton's pooch! hehe). God will always give us a way to get out problems out. We are most of the time hesitant to talk about our problems to outsiders as we may not know what happens after that. Thats why God created Dogs. Humans have all th freedom to say whatever they want o their pets, even if it is the most darkest secret. Why? There could only be one reason! They will never talk about your problems to anyone. (isn't my explanation gr8?) Anyway, I love my dogs and am very thankful to God for giving me such wonderful brothers who make me proud all the time. May God bless them for all the years to. Love you Kasboo and Rover.

The two special people in my life

Having someone special in life is the most precious gift given by God, and I would say that God has given me more than what others have. The two special people in my life are my mom and brother. Thinking of a life without them makes me want to leave this world. As a single parent, my mom has sacrificed her whole life to raise my borther and me. As we all know, its not easy raising children single handedly, but my mom has done that perfectly. Looking back at life,I would say that God has been very kind and special in terms of giving me my special people in life. There have been times when I feel worthless and angry with myself. These are especially the exam days when I can't take the burden of my studies. At this period of time, the only person that tells me to keep going is my mom. There is a phrase that she always uses and I feel its important to mention it. "Never give up in life". She is one person with skyrocketing self esteem which makes people look up to her. Anyone else in her situation would have given up in life a very long time ago. My brother, Karthik has always been a strong support for my Mom and me. My mom alway says that he is the man of the house and he has to be responsible towards his loved ones. He is loving, cheefrul, bubbly and a "computer savvy" kid. Having him around makes us forget all our worries and problems. He has been a wonderful brother that every sister yearns for. I sometimes wish that I had his computer brains. (I am an outdated person when int comes to computers). I would like to thanks God for giving me the two wonderful people in my life, who have showered me with love and showed me the right way. I would be a grateful daughter until my last breath. If I have one wish, that would be to have the same mother and brother in all my births. I love you Amma and Appu.
